Yunnan Shou Puerh

I used to get this tea in bulk at the Berkeley bowl, but I had to move a year ago and I couldn’t find any puerh that compared. I was able to track down the bowl’s supplier (imperial) and now I have it shipped to me from imperial. It’s my favorite part of the morning. you can’t over steep it and it’s rich and earthy, perfect with some oat milk or a teaspoon of sugar for a special treat . life long customer here!

Imperial Tea Court's standards are so high that this basic offering is better than many other pricier ones out there. Everything I want in a morning brew. Very quick delivery.

Earthy but not peaty.

Rich flavor. Dark tan color. Slight peppery aftertaste. I like it.
