Xinyang Mao Jian is recognized as one of the top ten famous teas of China. Produced in the Xinyang prefecture of China's Henan province, this tea was used as a tribute to the Imperial court since the Tang Dynasty. Xinyang Mao Jiang is a beautiful, fine white-green needle-like tippy green tea. The texture is silky and exquisite, with a sweet finish that lasts longer than expected. It is a green tea that certainly will capture your attention at all times.

Brewing instructions
We suggest 3-5 grams of tea per 6-8 oz water. Infuse with water at approximately 70C, or 158F, for 1 minute in a thin porcelain Gaiwan or cup. Decant the infused tea into a second cup before enjoying. Multiple steepings are recommended. Always adjust quantity of leaves, infusion time, and water temperature according to your personal preferences.
