Yunnan is nicknamed "the land of the southern clouds." This great southwestern highland is known as the homeland of tea and is a major tea-producing region with superb natural resources. Yunnan is known for its excellent green, puerh, and, of course, world-famous black teas (dian hong). Yunnan black teas are blessed with lots of shimmering gold tips. The liquor is always brilliantly bright and amber, with deep, rich flavors of fruit and mild spices. The luscious, full-bodied mouth-feel is always a pleasure. Our Select Yunnan Black is exceptionally sweet and well-rounded. An excellent value for everyday drinking.
GROWING REGION
Yunnan, China: With its abundant rainfall, mild climate, and fertile land, Yunnan Province has ideal conditions for tea cultivation and is known as the historical birthplace of medicinal tea.
BREWING INSTRUCTIONS
We recommend an infusion time of 1-3 minutes in near boiling water. This tea may be infused 3 or more times. After the first infusion, you may wish to increase both infusion time and/or water temperature.
The tea is delicious. Ordered post-Covid, it arrived at my home quickly and perfectly packaged.

This tea is a staple in my house. Good price and very rich, smooth flavor. Try it with coconut milk powder (or coconut milk), raw honey, and cinnamon -- yum!
