Imperial Ivory Green Tea
Edamame, kinako, sweet mung bean cake.
An albino subvarietal of Anji Bai Cha is the basis for our new Imperial Ivory, named after the beautiful, ivory color the leaves take on after they have been infused. Its flavor profile is complex; pairing the characteristic savory notes of green teas from Zhejiang Province with the delightfully subtle sweetness of fresh mung bean cakes.
This tea fills the mouth with a structured, umami richness and satisfying savory flavor notes, and the silky texture is amplified as the tea cools.
"Imperial" Teas: Imperial Tea Court was named after the courts of nobility in ancient China. We only give the designation "Imperial" to teas that we think are exceptional, befitting a distinguished audience. We hope you enjoy trying these unique offerings as much as we enjoy sourcing and sharing them with you.
