Ban Zhang Shou Puerh
Earthy, healing, with a sweet finish.
A great starter puerh for the newly introduced. The Ban Zhang Shou Puerh is incredibly balanced, with the earthy and woodsy notes of puerh coming through clearly without being overpowering. The main body of the cup is savory and herbal, reminiscent of flavors common in traditional Chinese medicine, with a light sweetness that appears at the end of your palate.
Puerh teas from Ban Zhang in Yunnan are famous for bold and robust flavors that can sometimes become overly harsh. The fermentation of this shou puerh takes that foundation and transforms it into a rounded, full flavored experience without the downsides.
