2006 Yi Wu Shou Puerh

Yunnan's Yi Wu mountain has long been recognized as one of the most noted Puerh production areas. During the early Qing Dynasty, it was determined that the best Puerh for tribute to the Imperial Court was to be procured from Yi Wu. An official tea procurement office was even set up by the Qing government to acquire the best possible tea for the court.

Yi Wu teas are known for their silky texture, deep, rich flavors, less astringency, and long finish. This Yi Wu Shou Puerh is produced from ancient arbors over 100 years old and has been aged carefully for nearly 20 years. We are privileged to share it with you.
