Qing Ming Dragon Well - 2025 Harvest
Due to limited inventory, this tea is not available on subscription.
Thanks to our long-standing relationships with local farmers and proactive planning, we secured a limited quantity of this meticulously hand-sorted, early spring harvested (pre-Qingming festival) Dragon Well tea. This 2025 harvest boasts beautifully styled leaves and a vibrant profile of flavors and aromatics. To fully appreciate its delicate fragrance and smooth texture, we recommend using fresh, good-quality water and steeping at a lower temperature.

BREWING INSTRUCTIONS
One of the few Dragon Well tea produced prior to the Qing Ming Festival (April 3rd) this year, teas produced prior to the Qing Ming Festival is most prized as the tea bushes have an entire winter to store up energy to grow new buds that are full of flavors. Due to the high cost of labor, most of the dragon wells are now produced by machines or a combination of machines and humans. only the highest quality teas like this batch are still produced by human hands entirely. Unique and special teas require good-tasting water for the best results. Please start by using good, fresh-tasting water, use 3-5 grams of tea per 6 oz of water, and infuse tea at approximately 70C-158F for one to 2 minutes. A thin porcelain cup or “gaiwan” is recommended. (always adjust the quantity of tea leaves according to the size of your teapot or cup or adjust steeping time and water temperature according to the intensity level desired)
