Lychee Blossoms
The sweet and white flesh of a lychee fruit represents love and romance. To produce this tea, we used tippy, spring-harvested silver needle white tea to individually hand-tied each blossom into a jade treasure sphere with a red "lychee" flower waiting to blossom inside. After infusion, the jade sphere slowly opens into an elegant dance of vibrant tea and flowers.
GROWING REGION
Fujian, China: Fujian is a coastal province in southeastern China where the finest oolong, white, and jasmine teas are produced. According to written records, teas have been produced in Fujian for well over 1,600 years. Growers currently produce five different categories of tea, most of which originated in the province.
BREWING INSTRUCTIONS
We recommend brewing this tea in one of our glass teapots so that you can watch the flower slowly open. Use one Lychee Blossom per 16 oz of water, infuse with near boiling water and watch it bloom!
