Lychee Blossoms
DESCRIPTION
Traditionally in China, lychees represent love and romance. For this tea, we used tippy, spring-harvested green tea individually hand-tied into a jade treasure sphere with a red lychee flower waiting to blossom inside. After infusion, the jade sphere slowly opens into an elegant dance of vibrant tea and flower.
GROWING REGION
Fujian, China: Fujian is a coastal province in southeastern China where the finest oolong, white, and jasmine teas are produced. According to the written record, teas have been produced there for well over 1,600 years. Growers currently produce five different categories of tea, most of which originated in the province.
BREWING SUGGESTIONS
We recommend brewing this tea in one of our glass teapots so that you can watch the flower slowly open. Use one Lychee Blossom per 16 oz of water, infuse with near boiling water and watch it bloom!
My favorite tea of all time me! Drink it ever day! Love the flavor, the aroma and the convenience! Just drop it into hot water wait for it to bloom and then drink! Perfect for traveling with!
