DESCRIPTION

Guangxi province is famous for its of Jasmine flowers. The majority of China’s jasmine teas are produced in this region due to its hot and humid weather, low cost of labor and the vast production of jasmine blossoms. While Guangxi is synonymous with Jasmine tea, some forget that Guangxi also produces great green teas! Although most of the green tea produced in this region is used for Jasmine tea production, there are some diamonds in the rough, like this beautiful Guangxi Xue Ya. Xue ya means snow tippy buds and exhibits an easy to like smooth richness with a hint of unknown wild flowers. This is not a green tea you should miss.

GROWING REGION

Guangxi, China

BREWING SUGGESTIONS

We suggest 3-5 grams of tea per 6-8 oz water. Infuse with water for 1-3 minutes in a thin porcelain Gaiwan or cup. A starting temperature of 70C-158F is recommended. Decant the infused tea into a second cup before enjoying. Always adjust quantity of leaves, infusion time, and water temperature according to your personal preferences.
