Flower of Prosperity
DESCRIPTION
In China, good fortune and prosperity are represented with gold and red colors. This exquisite, spring-harvested green tea is individually hand-tied into a jade treasure sphere. After infusion, the jade sphere slowly opens into an elegant flower which releases a floating string of beautiful of gold and red blossoms.
GROWING REGION
Fujian, China: Fujian is a coastal province in southeastern China where the finest oolong, white, and jasmine teas are produced. According to the written record, teas have been produced there for well over 1,600 years. Growers currently produce five different categories of tea, most of which originated in the province.
BREWING SUGGESTIONS
We recommend brewing this tea in one of our glass teapots so that you can watch the flower slowly open. Use one Flower of Prosperity per 16 oz of water, infuse with near boiling water and watch it bloom!
