Oolong tea is a uniquely diverse category of tea. Teas range from green oolongs with highly floral notes to semi-green/black oolongs that can be floral and fruity to almost fully-oxidized dark colored Oolongs. Oolong tea can look like tightly rolled balls or dark or elongated, twisted leaves that resembles it’s name. “Wulong” in Chinese means black dragon. Oolong teas are produced in China’s Fujian and Guangdong provinces, as well as in Taiwan. Our Imperial Green Oolong (Taiwan), Phoenix Oolongs (Guangdong) and Wuyi Da Hong Pao (Fujian) are great examples of each style of oolong, ranging from green to black colors.
