This is a top-quality spring Dragon Well from the famed West Lake region. It is exactly what is needed when one searches for inspiration in the early morning, the perfect mid-day pick up or for a cup to celebrate the end of a challenging day. Grown with Earth-friendly practices, this superior Dragon Well is simply a good tea with plenty of flavor and aromatics to keep you happy all through the week. Our 2020 Organic Superior Dragon Well is a certified organic and sustainably grown Long Jing 43 varietal produced in the traditional Si Feng (Lion Peak) method, in which the leaves are produced completely by hand. The leaves are shaped and dried in high heat in a specific “wok” made for tea production. The wok’s high heat singes the tender fur on the young tips and creates a nutty, toasty flavor and aroma that enhances the texture and mouth-feel of the tea. An insistent and refreshing finish completes the package for this excellent Dragon Well.

4 of 5 MEDITATIVE June 29, 2020
Reviewer: Michael BOURNE from Santa Monica, CA United States
This tea has a monastery-like quality and is fine for meditation and clarity of mind. A strong nose and wafts of flavor that do not follow thru in initial steeping though it improves with following cups, especially as the timings of the steepings increase.

5 of 5 Most finest tea available June 17, 2020
Reviewer: Edward Reither from Taos, NM United States
From what I hear from Roy, this tea is only picked for a short period of time (days) during the spring on a particular side of a hill, in a particular region.  So, more evidence this tea is for those with a particular taste for the finest tea available.  !

5 of 5 Imperial Dragon Well April 8, 2020
Reviewer: Ed R. from Taos, NM United States
Best lightly sweet, refreshing tea , Well worth the cost.  And, of course not a daily drink unless you can afford the price and have the luxury of sitting quietly in the morning absorbing its delightful qualities.
