According to written records, teas have been produced in Fujian Province for well over 1,600 years. The region currently produces five different categories of tea most of which originated in the province.

If you are a city dweller, you may not be familiar with walking through a spring meadow where wild flowers and green grass seem to pour their own unique perfumes into the gentle and warm spring sunshine. Well, drinking this tea would be the next best thing!

The traditional method of white tea production requires freshly harvested tea to be sun-dried, only this laborious and time consuming method can produce tea with these multitude of complex flavors without any unwanted astringency. The simplistic forwardness of this tea is wonderful, no deception or learning curve. Just brew it with any good tasting water and everything is there for the taking. We really enjoy cupping this interesting white peony and we hope that you do as well.

Brewing suggestion:

Infuse 3 grams of tea in a 6 oz. gaiwan with near boiling water. Decant into cups to enjoy. We recommend allowing the tea cool slightly before enjoying.
