A unique Imperial blend of superior black teas balanced in the classic tradition of complex, full-flavored breakfast teas. Beautifully colored in bright amber tones, Imperial Breakfast's unique aromatics and well-rounded taste refresh with hints of citrus and a whisper of smoke. Best with a wedge of lemon or sugar, try this alternative start to the day or as a stimulating tea break.
Preperation: Imperial Breakfast is a versatile tea which may be prepared with either a large teapot, individual gaiwans or gong fu style in an Yixing clay pot. We suggest 3-4 grams of tea per 10 oz of water, infuse with just boiling water at an infusion time of 3 to 5 minutes in order to bring out the fullest flavor. Because of the quality of the teas blended together in Imperial Breakfast, it may be resteeped several times. After the first infusion you may wish to increase the steeping time, and for the third and subsequent infusions, water which has just come to a boil may be used.
