2nd Flush Darjeeling:

Brewing Suggestions

We are encouraged by this year’s Darjeelings and black teas. We’ve chosen to purchase only one of the vast amounts of Darjeeling teas presented to us. The best 2nd flush of the year (in our opinion) is the Goomtee Classic Muscatel. As indicated by it’s name, this wonderful Darjeeling exhibits plenty of the elusive, sweet, aromatic Muscatel notes. But there is more to what makes a great 2nd Flush Darjeeling--the deep red color in the cup, the full rich texture and a cleansing, long-lasting finish. This is one of the best 2nd flush Darjeelings in recent years and should not be missed by any Darjeeling or black tea lovers!

4 of 5 3 infusions April 6, 2020

Smooth flavor ; medium dark color. Nice Muscatel flavor. I made  three infusions. Second one was as good as  first. Third one was still very good, and I stopped there. I enjoyed it without milk or sugar. I’m a new loose leaf tea drinker, but I did have a Darjeeling tea decades ago. I’ll order more of this one and a few others just to compare. But , I would order this one again definitely.  Steve
