White Tip Jasmine


White Tip Jasmine*:

This invention has never before been tasted except in our tea master Roy Fong's imagination. Imagine the largest possible unopened leaf bud, that of Yunnan's Da Yeh ("Big Leaf") cultivar. Allow a small proportion of open leaves to be mixed in to accentuate the robust Yunnan taste. Scented with top-quality jasmine flowers in our traditional manner and repeat four times, carefully re-firing after each scenting. Then enjoy the triumph of exceeding expectations. A new jasmine tea is born!


To serve White Tip Jasmine we recommend traditional gaiwan preparation. In a pre-warmed cup place 1-2 tsp. of tea and add a few drops of hot water to release its intoxicating aroma. Cover with 80°C/179°F water and infuse for 2-3 minutes. Re-steep by gradually increasing infusion time and water temperature. Always adjust quantity of leaves, infusion time and temperature according to personal preference
