Drinking tea has developed into a form of art in Chinese culture. In this album, the composer uses local music and the characteristics of various musical instruments, including Pai-Hsiao (wind instrument), Gao-Hu (bowed instrument), Ku-Cheng (plucked instrument), Pi-Pa (plucked instrument, alto Sheng (wind instrument), etc., to describe the different tastes of tea and the regions in which they are cultivated. While listening to the music, the listener can imagine the scenic beauty of a tea plantation while enjoying a cup of the regional tea.
