Brewing Suggestions

As a native of Hong Kong, Roy calls this uncommon black tea from Guangdong Province a taste of home. The handsome furry leaf tips, oxidized to a beautiful shade of gold, have a heady aroma that mixes exotic tropical scents of sugar cane and bamboo. We call this tea Jin Hao Li Cha (golden fur gift tea) because not only is it delicious enough to please the most discriminating black tea lover, but it also makes a stunning visual impression.

In the cup it yields a rich amber liquor. Familiar yet intriguing, flavorful but not overpowering, this tea is the equivalent of comfort food in a cup.

Preparation:

Infuse for 1-2 minutes in near boiling water. Adjust time, temperature, and tea quantity to taste.
