| Our
Best Webster says that Imperial means "Befitting an emperor or empress; magnificent; outstanding in quality; designating superior or unusual excellence..." Since we introduced this phrase into US tea vernacular ten years ago, it has spread far and wide. For us, only a very small handful of teas is judged extraordinary enough to merit the award of Imperial: our highest grade. Painstakingly hand-crafted in extremely limited productions (often no more than just a few pounds a year), each "Imperial" tea is a living work of art and a testament to the patience, skill, and dedication of its creators. Our Imperial Teas are, without doubt, some of the rarest, most valuable and, indeed, most beautiful teas produced in the world today. |
