In response to all the enthusiasm for our celadon-glazed gaiwan, we are proud to introduce a new dragon design celadon gaiwan to our collection. "Celadon" -the practice of glazing ceramic wares jade green- dates back to the Han dynasty in China (206BCE-220CE. The subtle coloring and superior craftsmanship of this 5 ounce porcelain cup is sublime. It's medium thickness walls are suitable for big leaf and oolong teas as well as traditional green teas.

This Gaiwan has a perfect balance in the hand. The size, color, shape, and thickness work beautifully in all settings with all teas. It is traditional and elegant. I am proud to have it on my tea table! Thank you, Roy, for providing such high quality teaware.
