The 2012 Imperial Muscatel Darjeeling features beautifully uniform leaves with plenty of gold tips. The signature "muscatel" sweet fruitiness is prominent and insistent, combining with its silky texture and floral notes. This year’s tea has a full-bodied flavor with a gentle grape essence that all Darjeelings aspire to have.

This tea will delight English style tea lovers, using 1 teaspoon of tea per cup, brewing the tea by using just boiled water for 3-5 minutes, depending on the intensity required and is suitable to be served with or without milk and sugar (based on your preferences).

Darjeeling can also be brewed with your favorite Yixing pot or Gaiwan with hot but less than boiling water for shorter infusions. Always adjust steeping time, water temperature, and quantity of leaves used based on personal preferences.
